Thank you for your interest in the Duke Toastmasters Club, located in Durham, North Carolina. The Duke Toastmasters Club was established in the summer of 2001 to promote the professional development of staff at the Duke University Medical Center. Over the years the Club has grown to encompass a wide variety of people from many different areas of the Duke University staff and faculty, as well as business professionals in the Durham area.

Visitors are encouraged to attend – your participation in a Club meeting is welcomed but not required. We understand that some of our guests just want to observe. Participation can start at later meetings. Although you do not need to join Toastmasters to be able to attend our meetings, you will only begin to reap the benefits by joining and beginning to participate in meetings.

If you are interested in joining the Club, you can obtain a membership application at the Club meeting and a Club Officer will assist you in completing the application. You can pay your initial fees by check or by providing your credit card information. If you elect to provide your credit card information, your application will be processed through the Toastmasters International web site and your credit card information kept secure by the Club Officer.
